Saw 3 Smilie Apr.30.2007
Today a was really bored and because i didn't have time to finish the
article about Meridians and Acupuncture Points,
so I just played around and changed
the Smilie Section a bit.
I added a FM Smilie animation and a smilie for "SAW 3".
For those who don't know about the smilie section; You can use
any smilie as a forum avator, email signatur or on your website, as long
as the text: Flash Mavi can be seen over the smilie or you link to flashmavi.com somewhere on your site.
Here is the new SAW 3 smilie:
Flash Mavi got his own Shadow April.27.2007
From today all new Lessons will be shadowed.
I though it was time to give my comics its own shadow (:
So in the future my animations will me more detailed, have shadows and
run with more frames.
( which means that themovements will be smoother )
On the picture below you can see the difference between the old
style and the new style.
Better details: Mavi got a propper belt which moves in the wind.
Shadows: All elements are shadowed.
More Frames: Can be seen in the moving animation.

Shin Pain April.25.2007
I recently got some requests about shin pain.
Shin Splints or Periostitis is an inflammation of the skin surrounding the shin bone. This is a common injury in wushu.
Especially those who work out on hard ground a sprint a lot on concete

Currently german providers offer .at ( austria ) domains for only 1 Euro per year. So i puchased some .at domains to point them to flashmavi.com
This should attract more german speaking visitors and give them easier to remember urls to remember Flash Mavi.

Anniversary: Instruction Number 500 April.19.2007
I am happy to announce that today i designed instruction number 500.
This special instruction is the CORK SCREW.
The Cork is the first technique on FM I don't practice myself,
so i had to work together with some trickers / b-boys etc.
I think i did i good job on this and hope you will enjoy
this anniversary lesson.

Anybody who doesn't linke Flash Mavi ? April.17.2007
As you know i managed to fix the rating bar 2 days ago.
Since then you can rate every topic independently.
Well... In the last 2 years I never got an email feedback from somebody who didn't like the FM project. But yesterday there was somebody who clicked through all the wushu lessons, stayed never more than 5 seconds and gave the lowest possible rating to all lessons.
As i can see in my stats that all the "one star ratings" came from the same IP address, i am pretty sure that that guy runs his own wushu or xma related website and tried to harm FM.
Of course i didn't delete his ratings, cus i am quite sure other visitors will rate too. ( FM currently gets 6000 visits a day )
But i thought it was funny so i added this message to the blog.

Hi everybody.
I am happy to announce that i finally managed to fix the rating bar. You can now vote for any topic on Flash Mavi.
By voting for your favourite instructions and topics,
you contribute your opinion in which direction FM should go in the future.
Visitors who came more often are allowed to vote more than once. Every week and month the most popular instructions will be listed in a special section ( not added yet )
At the same time I deleted all the old votes. So the whole thing starts at zero again.
