How to Search and Suggest July.24.2007
As you can see, each page of the new version of
Flash Mavi has a
seach box in the right top. You can use this seach box to
find instructions faster.
At the same time the search box can be used to suggest new topics
and instructions. I review the most popular queries once a week and
if a
lot of people are looking for the same instruction, i will most
likely add this instruction soon.
Here is a sample list of the 10 most popular queries

Bad News July.18.2007
Last weekend the adapter of my Apple Laptop fell
into my noodle soup.
Because i am in Bolivia right now and i wasnt able to purchase a new
one here,
I had to order a new adapter form the U.S.
Unfortuneately i will not be ablt to publish new tutorials until my
adapter arrives.
You can expect the next few instructions next week.
In the meantime i am using public cumputer to finish the new online
shop.

2 New Mavis July.12.2007
Finally I put the main design for the ninutsu
mavi online.
At the same time i published the main design for the snowboarding
mavi. The snowboarding section will include freestyle tricks and
technical advice for raceborders. ( carving, etc. )
I started boarding 16 years ago and the snowboarding tutorials were
something i was planning since the early beginning of Flash Mavi.
I hope there will be enough animated tutorials before the winter.

2 Years Flash Mavi July.04.2007
Today on the 4th of july is the second birthday
of Flash Mavi.
That the birthday of FM and the US-Independence day are on the
same day is just a funny coinsidence.
Here some more info about the early days of Flash Mavi:
Before i started FM I had some video tutorials on my personal
website: martinvidic.com
At this time my tutorials were visited by less 500 visitors
per month.
When I took a summer job ( selling bath & spa tickets ) at a local
gym where i also worked out, I was allowed to bring my own laptop
to play games or study when there was nothing to do.
So a bought a G3 apple clamshell from ebay.
When the laptop arrived on the 4th of july, i started designing
Flashmavis main design just a few hours later.
Below you can see a screenshot of what i developed on the first day.
Most of the time i was thinking about the right skin color and a cool
outfit.
Why the name: "Flash Mavi"
Flash - because the wushu and gymnastics tought on my new site
should be really cool, flashy, fast ... and of course ... they were
made
in flash.
Mavi - was my nickname when i worked in a bicycle delivery service
( yes - similar to the one in New York )
I worked there for a few month after my military service to save some
extra money for my trips. I actually bought that G3 laptop from the
money i earned delivering blood, documents, teeth etc... :)
During summer 2005 i publishedthe first 30 instructions and a few
month later the site had 20000 visits.
Summer 2006 i bought the domain: FLASHMAVI.com
Today, exactly2 years later, Flash Mavi has 575 animated instructions
and almost 200000 visits per month.
I am earning a full income from advertisements and soon I will travel
to china to tape approimately 2000 video tutorials for different
martial arts styles.
I hope you will keep coming by and please keep
refering FlashMavi.com !

Parkour & Shuai Jiao Mavis July.02.2007
Today i published the main designs for the Parkour
and the Shuai Jiao Mavi. The Parkour
Mavi is red and yellow. New Parkour lessons will be
published soon and elder lessons will be updated.
For those who are interested in Shuai Jiao:
I will tape hundreds of instructional Shuai Jiao Videos when i go
to
china this year.
Detailed animated instructions will be published after the videos.
