Calf Stretch - Press against a Wall

This lesson shows how you can stretch your calf muscle by pressing against a wall.
This calf stretch is very simple. Stand in a bowstance, both toes point straight forward.
Extend the knee of the back leg and press against a wall,
so that the heel is pushed down towards the floor and the calf muscle is stretched.

Technical description: Calf Stretch

  • Stand in a bowstance ( face towards wall ) and let your toes point straight forward to the wall.
  • Extend the knee of the backleg and put your hands onto the wall, so that your backleg, your trunk and your arms ore in one line.
  • Then press against the wall so that the heel of your back leg moves towards the floor and your calf muscle is stretched.
    Don't bend the knee hold the stretch for at least 30 seconds.

 

 

Trainer advice: Calf Stretch

  • Start your stretching routine from the lowest muscle. ( the calf muscle )
