Neck - Side Stretch

In this lesson you will learn how to stretch the sides of the neck. ( trapezoid )
Please keep in mind that neck should not be done too hard. It is not necessary to pull down the head with the arms. Neck stretches are often applied by wrestlers and judokas - part of the warm up. Find other stretches at stretching main.

 

 

Technical description: Neck - Side Stretch

  • Stand upright and look straight forward horizontal.
  • Bend your head down to one side so that the other side of your neck is stretched.
    Keep your view horizontal. Don't look down, up, to the left or the right.
  • Hold the stretch for approximately 15 seconds and then bend your head to the other side.
