Sorry about this one. Looks like I lost this video. The "Sokugi Taikyoko Sono Ichi" is the first taikyoku kata which involves kicking techniques. Sokugi = Kicking. This kata is the same as taikyoko sono ichi, but a kansetsu geri (low side kick) is executed on every turn. The video above, shows this kata without any kicks. I will upload the right video as soon as I find it. Actually, view the second kicking taikyoku kata, which is the same thing with higher kicks. Execution
Taikyoku katas are seen in many different karate styles. "Taikyoku" means "First Course" or "Basic Ultimate". Sokugi stands for "Kicking". The sokugi taikyoko sono ichi is the first taikyoko kata with kicks.
A kansetsu geri (low side kick) is executed after every turn.
On the following 1 to 3 steps mae geris (keage) are thrown.
Some karate schools teach this kata with a "Kake Wake Uke" (Reverse Wedge Block) between the kansetsu geri and the mae geris (front kicks).
Advice
This is the first taikyoko karate kata with kicks.
Slide on the balls of your feet (without standing up)
If possible, video tape yourself.
