Step forward with your right leg and hold your wushu staff in your right hand. The top (thin end) points up.
Then put your left hand over your right hand and turn the thin end down under your right shoulder.
Turn to the left and circle your wushu staff on the left side (once circle - and very close to your body). Relax your left hand, your hips and your right foot.
Then turn back and do two circles on the right side, one outside your arm and the second one goes under your right shoulder again. Then turn again => see step 2.
