Wushu - Point Straightsword - Video
This video shows how to point the wushu straightsword. In Chinese (Mandarin) this is called "Dian Jian". "Dian" means point and "Jian" is the double-edged

Execution
- Swing your sword down from over-head. The wrist goes first, the sword follows.
- When your arms stops your wushu straightsword still moves a little. At the end, the tip of your sword should be a little lower than your wrist.
- Turn your head at the same time and exhale.
- Extend the other arm the other way.
Advice
- Relax your wrist.
- Fully extend your elbow.
- Don't raise your shoulders.
- Don't round your back.
- Look straight forward.
