Bodybuilding is a form of weight training where you emphasize on the size and shape of your muscles. Workouts are between 60 and 90 minutes long. Do 10 to 20 sets with 8 to 12 repetitions per workout.

  • Slow concentrated repetitions and strict technique are very important.
  • In bodybuilding, rest and nutrition are just as important as the workouts.


  • If you are new to bodybuilding, don't work out more then 3 times per week.
  • At the beginning you should learn the most important exercises and not focus too much on size and strength.
  • Free-weight exercises (with barbells and dumbbells) are usually better than machines.
