Intensive Reps - Bodybuilding

This is a technique to intensivice a set, especially used by those who use a HIT-Training routine.
Intensive Reps are when you do short fast repetitions at the end of a normal set. Only move the weight a few degrees up and down until the trained muscle is totally exhaused.

  1. Expample one, Biceps Curl - Intensive reps.
    Finish your set on the biceps curl reck. (Point of muscle failure). And then do 10 to 20 more fast small bouncing repetitions to intensivice your bizeps training. The intensive reps should be done at the end of your biceps workout.

 

 

Trainer advice: Intensive Reps - Bodybuilding

  • Dont do Intensive Reps of every exercise in your workout. - Leads to over-training. One or two intensivation techniques per muscle group and workout are enough.
