THE FILM

Every dog owner has wondered what their dog is thinking when nobody is watching.

GOOD DOG: HOME ALONE explores that question through the story of a dog raised like a human child and left home alone for the very first time.

Rather than building the film around a series of trained behaviors, we set out to create a genuine canine performance. Furiosa carries the emotional journey of the story, revealing character through curiosity, hesitation, relationships, conflict, and choice.

Our goal wasn't to make a dog behave like a human. It was to discover how much story a real dog could tell while remaining completely true to its nature.

No CGI dog. No animated dog. No AI. No human voice-over.

Produced with the visual ambition of a feature film, GOOD DOG is crafted for film festivals and the biggest screen in your home.

THE STORY

GOOD DOG begins on what seems like an ordinary evening.

While her favorite wildlife program plays on television, her parents quietly prepare for a night out. She doesn't yet understand what's happening—only that something about tonight feels different.

Am I coming with you... or am I staying home?

She adores her mother, whose every glance fills her with excitement. Her father is different. Their relationship is more complicated, more uncertain.

One look from him is enough to make her hesitate. Before leaving, her parents distract her with a carefully placed trail of treats. It works—at first. Then, just before the door closes, they tell her something.

She doesn't understand every word.

But she knows it's important.

Now she's left alone with one question:

What was her mission?

MEET FURIOSA

Before becoming the star of GOOD DOG, Furiosa's life began very differently.

She was rescued from an animal fair, where she had been kept overnight inside a sack and left piled in a corner with other dogs waiting to be sold. When she arrived, she was covered in scars.

We don't know exactly where she came from. We don't even know whether she's a purebred Boxer. Our best guess is that she had been abandoned or collected for resale before eventually ending up with us.

From the very beginning, one thing stood out. Furiosa had an extraordinary ability to focus and hold eye contact.

One day, while we were doing a series of acting exercises, Furiosa was sitting on the sofa watching us. As we moved from one emotion to another, we realized she was mirroring every one of them. Many dogs react to the emotions around them, but the intensity with which Furiosa became emotionally invested was unlike anything we'd seen before.

She wagged her tail and wanted to join in whenever something looked exciting. But when we acted out an argument, her ears went back and she started shaking.

We immediately stopped using stressful emotional exercises because her well-being always came first.

But the question arose: Could those natural instincts become the foundation of a dramatic performance?

Before committing to GOOD DOG: HOME ALONE, we created an audition film to find out.

The complete audition film will be available exclusively to everyone who joins our mailing list.

WHY KICKSTARTER

For years, we experimented with combining cinematic short films with traditional YouTube content. But with every project, our films became more ambitious—and more time-consuming to create. Eventually, we reached a point where we had to make a choice: produce faster content for the algorithm, or dedicate ourselves to the films we truly wanted to make.

GOOD DOG is the first project we set out to create purely as a film.

The film has already been shot, which is why we can already share the trailer. We're now completing editing, color grading, sound design, and everything needed to prepare GOOD DOG for its very first film festival journey.

Because the film can't be released publicly while it's on the festival circuit, we're also
developing a dedicated TV app so our supporters can experience GOOD DOG as soon as it's ready.

By backing GOOD DOG, you're helping us finish the film, remain independent, and become one of the people who helped bring the first dog film of its kind to life.
