Praying Mantis - Wushu
Praying Mantis is a traditional wushu style where the martial artist
imitates the
movements of a praying mantis ( insect ) .
Its said that the praying mantis style was found around 1250 by master wang
lang,
but the exact time is not known.
In chinese the praying mantis style is called" Tang Lang Quan".
Tang Lang is the word for the praying mantis ( insect )
and "quan" stands for "fist". ( in common speech just "Tang
Lang" )
