Negative Reps - Bodybuilding
Negative reps are used to make the last few repetitions of a set more intensive.
For negatives, you need a training partner who helps you.
Move the weight
down as slow as possible and let your training partner help you lift it back up.
Negatives are done at the end of a normal
set ( 3 to 6 reps ).

- Expample one, Biceps Curl, Negatives.
Finish your set and get your training partner to lift up the weight, after you cannot move it anymore. Move it down as slow as you can. Repeat this process 3 to 6 times.
Trainer advice: Negative Reps - Bodybuilding
- Don't do negatives more then once per muscle group
and workout.
- Do negatives with free weights.
