Hey! I’m Furiosa, but my friends call me Furi.
My story didn’t start in the best place. My parents rescued me from a dog seller who used to keep me in a bag every night along with four other dogs. It was awful—I got bitten all over. I still get nervous when other dogs run up to me too fast, but I’m working on it with my two therapists.
I’ve spent a lot of time observing my humans. And honestly... I’ve pretty much got them figured out. They don’t know it, but I understand almost all of their primitive language. I’ve tried to communicate with them, but unfortunately, they just don’t have the intelligence to understand me.
They’re filmmakers, so I grew up in that world. Recently, they made a movie (or a short film... or something like that) just for me. They’re editing it right now, as I’m writing this. They say I’m going to be famous, but deep down I know they just want to remember me when I’m no longer around.
Anyway, filming was pretty cool—the cameras, the attention, and lots of treats during and after every take. I learned a bunch of new tricks, and they even trained me in the Meisner technique!
