Below you will find a list of the most important Chinese expressions for wushu training. wu shu – CHINESE MARTIAL ARTS – also known as KUNG FU
tao lu – FORM
lian – TRAIN, EXERCISE
lian gong – TRAIN, EXERCISE
gong fu – SKILL (that’s what people think of as the Chinese martial art: kung fu)
ti tui – KICK LEGS (the basic kicking techniques)
tui fa – KICKING TECHNIQUES
ya tui – STRETCHING LEGS
ya – STRETCH
xia cha – DOING THE SPLITS
xia da cha – DOING THE SIDE SPLITS
ti – KICK
ti gao yi dian – KICK A BIT HIGHER
zenme ti? – HOW DO YOU KICK?
tiao – JUMP
tiao ji lai – JUMP UP
