You know how your dog gets all excited when you pick up a stick.Furiosa gets that same excitement too, but for her, there’ssomething even better than a stick — and no, it’s not a ball.
She stretches her back, gives us this funny little growl, startswagging her tail, and jumps around in circles. And the reason? Shesaw a camera.
Well, we made two short films with her, and to her, a camera meansplaytime, treats, and our full attention. Every time she doessomething right, she gets a treat.
Or... when she simply looks at us the right way.
And if we want to get her into a double-excited emotional state,we can always pull out the ball and play for a few minutes. Thatusually gets her beautiful smile and that big tongue showing.
If the smile fades again for whatever reason, we just play again.
And if we get the shot, she gets a high five, more treats, andtons of hugs.
She is completely conditioned to think that cameras representeverything good in a dog’s life.
Can that be topped?
For her, the camera means pure excitement.
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if we started throwingcameras instead of sticks.
The only thing that even comes close to cameras is the track. Butthat’s another story — an even stranger one.
