Short Wushu Exercises

Here you can find typical wushu exercises like wushu arm circles or Chuan Zhang. Because animating these exercises would require too much work, I am publishing them as videos. For basic wushu skills, please go back to Wushu Main.

Exercises

Wushu Arm Circle
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and extend your arms sideways. Keep your arms and shoulders aligned throughout the entire exercise. Lower your right arm in front of your stomach while simultaneously lifting your left arm. Both elbows should be fully extended. Relax your ankles to allow your torso to turn with the movement. Turn your torso 90 degrees to the left, lift your right arm straight forward, and let your left arm fall back down. Continue moving until your right hand points straight up and your left arm points down. At this point, turn back to the starting position and spread your arms out to your sides again. => This completes the first half of the movement. In the second half, the left arm passes in front of your stomach while the right arm moves back.
