The Yoga Tree Pose improves balance, concentration, and posture (especially for people with leg and foot problems and for those who sit a lot during work). Execution
Start from the Yoga Mountain Pose (Tadasana).
Lift your left knee and place the sole of your left foot on the inside of your right thigh. Exhale as you do this.
Then raise your extended arms to horizontal level. Both palms point downward.
Inhale again and bring your palms together in front of your chest at the same time (praying position).
Finally, exhale and lift your closed palms overhead. Keep breathing deeply through the belly and hold this position for a while.
Advice
Breathe deeply (belly breathing) and move slowly.
The Yoga Tree Pose is easier to balance if you look straight ahead at something far in front of you.
