Foreigners usually live in the Song Jiang hotel inside the school. All rooms have two beds, a shower, a toilet, air conditioning, and a TV. You can expect something between a hostel and a one-star hotel. Most Chinese students live in dorms with 12 beds per room.
The school will not allow foreigners to sleep in dorms with Chinese students. First of all, they are afraid of trouble with foreign embassies in case you get sick, and secondly, there is a high chance that your passport or money could get lost. However, if you speak Chinese, you can rent your own apartment or try to live in a dorm with Chinese wushu students. Some students also live in the hotel, so that’s nothing unusual.
The 150 USD school fee includes living in the hotel, and the school might place two foreigners in one room. If that happens, you can try to get a discount for sharing a room with another foreigner.
Room size: between 16 and 20 square meters.
For visitors who don’t train at the school, the hotel costs between 60 and 80 yuan per day, or about 1800 yuan per month (1800 yuan ≈ 180 euros or 260 USD).

Don’t expect freshly painted walls or very clean rooms.
This is not a five-star hotel.
The climate is hot, dry, and windy, so there is dust everywhere.
